Today was our last OP practice. I guess it would also qualify as the last PW meeting for NJ136. Ever. haha, sounds a bit melodramatic, but it is true. spent the entire day running through the OP over and over and over again, until we all became pretty sick of it all. even so, i still feel so unprepared; still making stupid mistakes at the most inopportune moments, when i know full well how the script should go. i just keep getting the feeling that my group in general, and I in particular, is always doing things in the last minute. in fact, we only just managed to solve a technical problem of embedding a sound clip which has been plaguing us forever and should have been settled a long time ago.
however, i will say that its awesome how far the group has come from what we were initially. looking back at the video from our OP workshop, i feel that we have really improved from that pathetic state we were once in. it's good to know that all that hard work put in has paid off. but special mention has to go to the powerpoint, which looks infinitely better than that horrible, patchwork piece which looked like a creation of Dr Frankenstein. we each worked on our own individual parts with no interaction with each other, resulting in a completely incoherent piece of trash.
well, tmr's the last day of PW for most of us. if it went well for you guys, then congrats on that :). if it things didnt work out as well as you had hoped, cheer up, put it behind you, and looks towards the future. if like me, it's ending tmr, then here's good luck from a fellow sufferer.
well, with OP happening tmr, what better song to include than one about soldiers going into war? here's Bloodmeat from PTH:
