Bound and gagged by invisible red tape

At hockey training today, marcus told us that ms wong smsed him this morning to say that our $4500 budget for equipment had magically shrunk to just $1000 after paying for pitch training. ridiculous! is the pitch made of kevlar and watered with white wine? wth man, i already calculated that at the very worst case scenario we might spend maybe $1000 on pitch (and that's seriously stretching things), so i have no idea why it became so expensive. stupid admin crap... so anyway, we had to scrap our original plan of buying a full goalie set and settle for just the high-rebound kickers, i believe. and the teachers also want us to get freaking 100 balls with the same money. i think we just need to get one ball... then i'll proceed to hit it straight into their skulls. i think 100 balls is enough to last until way after we graduate, so why cant we just devote more money to where it's really needed (read: goalie suit)? stupid admin red tape, makes being an exco seem completely not worth my time if im bound so tightly by regulations so pointless and inflexible.

on another hockey-related note, next monday is gonna be the first coach training of the holidays, which means it's probably a good time for me to start on my epitaph. how about:
He wanted to go peacefully in an open field
But died on fake grass while being screamed at by his coach
ok, i dont really want to go in an open field, but im too sleepy to think of something witty and relevant. heck, that sounds like multi-tasking, which just makes me sleepier.

oh, and welcome back to all those who went for YLTC! and especially to seng, ivy and alicia! :):):):):) in case you havent noticed, im sucking up to the 3 of you cos i have done just about nothing regarding the 100-word write-up, and there's also the news of the missing $3500, which im pretty sure you wont be taking very lightly.

now that L4D2 has come out, L4D sure looks really ancient, doesnt it?

i loled when i saw this  NES version of L4D. the same 8-bit sounds, pixelated graphics and 2D gameplay from an era long gone. quite disappointed that there are only boomers though, i really would have wanted to see what the other boss infected look like. i wonder if i can get it on emulator...
